Computer LabThe Computer Lab in the School has scores of Personal Computers equipped with both USB Flash drives and CD-RW/DVD+-RW drives. Software includes Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and various media players. The exposure to the computer world is given at elementary level itself in the School. All our students are computer savvy with theoretical and practical classes with individual and personalized attention. The entire computer networking is upgraded with appropriate software to enable students of classes XI and XII to compile and run programs in Java with net beans and C++ along with Flash-8 applications as per the syllabus periodically. The students are also taught TALLY.
Language LabLearning languages provides many benefits including greater academic achievement, greater cognitive development, and more positive attitudes towards other languages and cultures. Simply put, language learning is necessary for students to effectively function in the modern global marketplace. The language lab offers efficient and exclusive exposure to enrich the foreign language learning process and provides a rich environment to learn the languages such as French, German, English and Tamil at SBMHSS. Additionally, bilinguals have better problem-solving skills, as well as improved memory, concentration, and mental flexibility. Students who pursue language studies also tend to score better on standardized tests and benefit from academic progress in other subjects. Apart from the traditional classroom, the Language lab at SBMHSS creates an easy atmosphere and plays a pivotal role in educating the students on basic interpersonal communicational proficiency.
science LabSatheesh Balaji School has well-equipped laboratories for imparting practical knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. All the laboratories are well-stocked with sufficient chemicals, specimens and instruments so that every student gets the opportunity to carry out the experiments individually. Well-qualified and experienced teachers guide the students to explore the world of science through a meticulously planned schedule of practical classes. Moreover, the safety of every child while handling the chemicals and instruments is duly taken care of.
